VCF LaLiga's second most improved side in first half of 2019/20
Valencia CF will kick off the second half of the LaLiga season with their game against RCD Mallorca at Son Moix on January 19th, after a successful conclusion to the first act of the campaign. Albert Celades' side are the second most improved team in the competition, compared to their start to 2018/19.

With 31 points to their name, VCF have 8 more than at this stage of the previous campaign. Only Villarreal have made a more significant improvement, earning 11 more points than in 2018/19.
Behind Valencia CF are Real Madrid and Athletic Club, 7 points better off than last season.

The team begin Part 2 of the season in sixth place, with their attention now shifting from the Spanish Supercopa to LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the return of the Champions League.
A strong start to the final months of the season is key to reaching targets, and Valencia CF are highly motivated to push for the Champions League spots once more.
